I'm thrilled to be approaching the halfway mark of my scenic carpentry apprenticeship with the Walnut Street Theatre Scenic carpentry department for the 2024-2025 season! This journey has allowed me to hone my ability to solve complex design challenges creatively and efficiently. Each project so far has provided unique learning opportunities, from collaborating with seasoned professionals to understanding the intricate details of theatrical design.

I've gained invaluable skills in scenic carpentry and fabrication- mastering techniques in set construction, learning about the safety and uses for the different tools and processes we have, and have formed great friendships with the other apprentices.
